I am a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) with 5 years of experience working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and the effects of traumatic experiences in both adulthood and childhood. Many of my clients have ADHD or suspect they do, or are in relationships with people who have ADHD.
I have a Master of Counselling degree from City University of Seattle. I also am a Certified Focusing Oriented Therapist (FOT) and have additional training in ADHD and Neurodiversity. I have training in and use a variety of trauma-informed and trauma-specific healing modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
In addition to my professional credentials and training, I also bring my lived experience to understanding and supporting my clients. While I do not have an ADHD diagnosis myself, both of my two teenage children do, as does my husband. I’ve done my own therapy for many years, and remain committed to doing so as part of the self-care and continuing education I bring to my side of the therapy room.
